The sci-fi horror feature film “The Night” is conducting a national talent search seeking a teen male to play one of the lead roles, a character named Anthony.
“The Night” is the fourth installment in the hugely popular “The Purge” film series, and is a prequel to the previous three films that will focus on the events that lead up to the very first Purge event. The movie will center on high school buddies who go out on an adventure one night, a night they will remember forever. “The Night” is being directed by James DeMonaco, who also directed the first three films in the series – “The Purge” (2013), “The Purge: Anarchy” (2014) and The Purge: Election Year” (2016). DeMonaco is also writer and producer. Additional producers are Saturn Award winner Michael Bay, Academy Award nominee Jason Blum, DVDX Award nominee Bradley Fuller, Sebastien Lemercier, and Andrew Form. Executive producers are Jeanette Brill and Couper Samuelson. “The Night” is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 4, 2018.

Additional starring and supporting roles for “The Night” are mainly being cast through talent agents. You can find comprehensive listings and submission addresses for talent agents here. However, if you are not signed with an agent and wish to self-submit, I highly recommend that your 8×10 color headshot and resume along with the cover letter be sent in a 9 x 12 Clear Full Face Window Envelope with the photo visible in the window. Do NOT send photos and resumes to the production companies, as they will end up being thrown away. They do not cast the films, rather they hire casting directors who sort through the thousands of submissions (see above).
