Comedy feature film ‘I Feel Pretty’ schedules open casting call

The comedy feature film “I Feel Pretty” is seeking attractive and fit men and women to appear in the film as fully paid extras.

There is no experienced required to be considered, and both union and non-union talent are welcome to attend the open casting call. The film stars Golden Globe Award nominee Amy Schumer, Gold Derby Award nominee Emily Ratajkowski, four-time Academy Award nominee Michelle Williams, and British Independent Film Awards nominee Rafe Spall.

“I Feel Pretty” centers on Renee Bennett (Schumer), who knows what it’s like to be average in a world of the genetically blessed. After falling off an exercise bike and banging her head, she believes a spell has suddenly made her gorgeous. Except to everyone else, she looks exactly the same. Renee’s new confidence suddenly sees her climbing the ranks at the cosmetics company she works for, getting the respect of her idol and boss, Avery LeClaire (Williams). Ultimately Renee realizes ‘the spell’ has lifted, but through the process learns true beauty is not skin deep.

Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Audience Award winners Marc Silverstein and Abby Kohn wrote the screenplay and are making their directorial debut.
