Email submissions being accepted for Paramount Pictures feature film ‘What Men Want’

The casting directors for the upcoming Paramount Pictures feature film “What Men Want” are accepting email submissions from talent interested in working on the project as fully paid extras and featured background performers. This new version of the 2000 Mel Gibson film “What Women Want” follows a female sports agent who has been constantly boxed out by her male colleagues. When she gains the power to hear men’s thoughts, she is able to shift the paradigm to her advantage as she races to sign the NBA’s next superstar.

“What Men Want” stars Academy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson in the lead role, along with two-time Primetime Emmy Award nominee Tracy Morgan, and Screen Actors Guild Awards winner Aldis Hodge. Two-time Primetime Emmy Award nominee Adam Shankman is directing “What Men Want” from a screenplay written by Golden Globe Award nominee Nancy Meyers. Taraji P. Henson is also executive producing with Adam Shankman.

“What Men Want” Casting Call Details

To be considered for acting or extra roles on “What Men Want,” all talent must have legal eligibility and work permits to work on films in Atlanta, GA where filming is taking place. That information can be found in the Atlanta Actors Resource Guide eBook. The following roles are being cast, and the director is hand-picking the talent:

SPORTS AGENTS (WITH CARS) – Males, any ethnicity, 25-48 with a youthful appearance, to portray sports agents – think high-end corporate America. Needed are talent with newer high-end cars such as 2016-2018 Mercedes, Audi, Jaguar, BMW, Maserati, Range River, etc. Clean cut looks only – no dreads, braids, twists, ear gauges, multi-colored hair, etc. You will also need to have more than one tailored/fitted suit and ties.

To be considered, you must submit the following ASAP:

-Three full-length photos wearing different suits, HOLDING A SIGN WITH THE DATE OF THE PHOTO
-At least one clear photo of your vehicle, make, model, and year
-Your full name
-Your location
-Height
-Weight

These scenes will film on Monday April 30th, and Tuesday May 1st in Atlanta, GA.


BOXING TEAM MATES – Men, any ethnicity, ages 23-40, that have an 80’s look such as long hair (Afro), side burns, mustache etc. No boxing experience necessary. Average, physically fit body.

To be considered, you must submit the following ASAP:

-Three full-length photos wearing different suits, HOLDING A SIGN WITH THE DATE OF THE PHOTO
-At least one clear photo of your vehicle, make, model, and year
-Your full name
-Your location
-Height
-Weight
-List/show any tattoos you have. This is very helpful for the makeup department.
