‘The Walking Dead’ seeking Asians, Latinos, and African Americans

The hit Golden Globe Award nominated horror-drama television series “The Walking Dead” is now shooting it’s 8th season and the show is now auditioning actors for new day player roles. There is also casting call information posted below for some specific roles as extras.

Shooting is taking place in Atlanta and Senoia, GA. In order to be considered for any roles, all actors and extras must have legal eligibility to work on television shows in Georgia, and that information can be downloaded here.

In season 8 of “The Walking Dead”, victory will require more than just the supplies and numbers in Alexandria, and while in pursuit of more weapons, food and new fighters, Rick and the group will be tested in ways we’ve never seen before. They’ll explore a world that is much bigger than anything they’ve encountered. The group will rise up and band together, but nothing can prepare them for all-out battle with Negan and his army.

Two-time Daytime Emmy Award nominee Scott M. Gimple is executive producer and serves as showrunner. Independent Spirit Awards winner and Valhalla Entertainment CEO Gale Anne Hurd also serves as executive producer. Dave Alpert and Robert Kirkman executive produce for Circle of Confusion. Five-time Primetime Emmy Award winner Gregory Nicotero and Primetime Emmy Award nominee Tom Luse round out “The Walking Dead” executive producing team.
