Batman vs. Superman Auditions and Casting Calls

“Batman vs. Superman” is scheduled to hit theaters on July 17, 2015

Crown City Pictures, Syncopy, and Atlas Entertainment in association with DC Entertainment and Batfilm Productions are now in pre-production on the Warner Bros. Pictures action adventure sci-fi feature film “Batman vs. Superman”. This is the current working title of the film. Casting is underway for the lead and supporting roles in the film. Maryellen Aviano, the casting director who hosted the recent Star Wars: Episode VII meet-and-greet sessions in the United States, is the extras casting coordinator for “Batman vs. Superman”. Open casting calls will be posted here. Submission instructions for acting roles is now posted below. Film crew members can now submit via email.

Detroit will be the location that will stand-in for Gotham City. Additional shooting will take place in Vancouver, and Morocco. “Batman vs. Superman” will feature Superman and Batman meeting for the first time in a cinematic format, along with Wonder Woman. Principal photography is now set to begin in February, 2014.

Starring in “Batman vs. Superman” is Teen Choice Awards winner Henry Cavill playing the role of Clark Kent/Superman, the last son of Krypton. Cavill is reprising his role from “Man of Steel”. He is currently playing the role of Napoleon Solo opposite Armie Hammer in the Warner Bros. Pictures film “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” shooting in London. Two-time Academy Award winner Ben Affleck has joined the cast and will play the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. Affleck is currently filming the 20th Century Fox thriller feature film “Gone Girl“. Israeli actress and model Gal Gadot has been cast to play Wonder Woman. Gadot is best known for playing Gisele Harabo in three “Fast & Furious” films. Also starring in “Batman vs. Superman” is four-time Academy Award nominee Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Academy Award nominee Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, and Academy Award nominee Diane Lane as Martha Kent.

Saturn Award winner Zack Snyder will direct “Batman vs. Superman” from a screenplay written by David S. Goyer, based on a story by Snyder and Goyer. Charles Roven will produce for Atlas Entertainment, and Deborah Snyder is producing for Cruel & Unusual Films. Daytime Emmy Awards winner Benjamin Melniker and Michael E. Uslan will also produce. Three-time Academy Award nominee Christopher Nolan and Academy Award nominee Emma Thomas and will produce for Syncopy. Warner Bros. will handle both domestic and international distribution. “Batman vs. Superman” is set for a July 17, 2015 release date.
