Universal Pictures film ‘Fast 8’ casting call seeking talent


The Universal Pictures feature film “Fast 8” is currently seeking talent ages 21 and older to portray police officers and military types. “Fast 8” is the next installment in the Fast & Furious franchise. Email submissions are being accepted for these roles. Additional roles are being posted here throughout production. Shooting is taking place through August, 2016 in Atlanta, GA. To be considered, all talent are required to have legal eligibility to work in the entertainment industry in Atlanta, GA and in the United States, those details are posted below.

Starring in “Fast 8” is Screen Actors Guild Awards nominee Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto, CinemaCon Award winner Dwayne Johnson as Hobbs, Critics Choice Award nominee Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw, three-time Grammy Awards nominee Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce, ALMA Awards winner Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Toretto, Golden Globe Award nominee Kurt Russell, and two-time Grammy Awards winner Ludacris as Tej Parker. Also joining the cast of “Fast 8” are Academy Award winners Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren, along with Teen Choice Award winner Scott Eastwood.

Black Reel Awards winner F. Gary Gray has taken over directorial duties for “Fast 8”. Chris Morgan wrote the screenplay based on characters by Gary Scott Thompson. Vin Diesel is producing along with Primetime Emmy Award nominee Neal H. Moritz. Samantha Vincent and Amanda Lewis are serving as executive producers. Screen Actors Guild Award winner Jack Gill and two-time Screen Actors Guild Awards nominee Andy Gill will serve as stunt coordinators. “Fast 8” is scheduled to hit theaters on April 14, 2017.
