The Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures superhero feature film sequel “Ant-Man and the Wasp” is now in production and the current needs are posted below.

“Ant-Man and the Wasp” centers on Ant-Man (Scott Lang) as a global fugitive, and deals with the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War”. Screen Actors Guild Awards Paul Rudd plays Ant-Man/Scott Lang. Also reprising their “Ant-Man” roles are Golden Globe Award nominee Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne, ALMA Award winner Michael Peña as Luis, and two-time Academy Award winner Michael Douglas as Hank Pym.

Saturn Award nominee Peyton Reed is directing “Ant-Man and the Wasp” from a screenplay written by Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari, based on a story by Academy Award winner Adam McKay and Paul Rudd. Lars P. Winther is 1st AD and is co-producing with Publicists Guild of America Showmanship Award winner Kevin Feige. Executive producers are Visual Effects Society Awards winner Victoria Alonso, ATAS Foundation College Television Award recipient Stephen Broussard, three-time Hugo Awards nominee Stan Lee, and Directors Guild of America DGA Award winner Charles Newirth, and Louis D’Esposito.

The 2015 “Ant-Man” film was a huge success, and grossed more than $519 million worldwide. Shooting on “Ant-Man and the Wasp” is taking place at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Fayette County, Georgia. Filming will run from July 31, 2017 through November 10, 2017. “Ant-Man and the Wasp” is currently using the working title of “Cherry Blue”. “Ant-Man and the Wasp” is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 6, 2018.

Ant-Man and the Wasp Casting Calls

“Ant-Man and the Wasp” is currently casting featured background performers, stand-ins, and photo doubles throughout the shooting schedule from July 31, 2017 through November 10, 2017. To be considered for acting or extra roles on “Godzilla: King of the Monsters”, all talent must have legal eligibility and work permits to work on films in Atlanta, GA where filming is taking place. “Ant-Man and the Wasp” producers are seeking the following:

ASIAN LOOKING SCHOOL KIDS – Boys and Girls, who can portray ages 9 – 10 years of age, students in classroom. These scenes will shoot on Saturday August 5, 2017 AND Monday August 7, 2017. MUST be available with no conflicts on both days. Due to Federal Labor laws, it is required that all children can provide a photo ID, such as passport, passport card, state issued ID card, current school ID with a photo, etc.

To be considered, a parent or legal guardian must submit an email to CHERRYBLUE@centralcasting.com and include the child’s name, parent’s name, parent’s contact phone number, RECENT child’s picture, height/weight/clothing sizes, and location. Put “SCHOOL KIDS” in the subject line.
