From the Producers of “Transformers”, “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”, Transformers: Dark of the Moon”, “Natural Born Killers”, “Splice” and the upcoming “Real Steel” comes an online open casting call for three lead roles and two supporting roles for the upcoming feature film “Transfers”.
This online casting call is open to actors with or without representation by a talent agent or manager. Talent agents and managers will need an ActorCast Talent Representative account to submit their actors – there are no fees or charges whatsoever. Unrepresented actors will need an ActorCast Membership account to submit – there are no fees or charges whatsoever.
• The deadline for agent and manager submissions is March 23, 2011.
• The deadline for non-represented actor submissions is March 23, 2011.
The following roles are being cast:
All actors MUST be 18 years of age or older to submit.
[IRINA] Lead role. Female, 20, is fragile, fine featured and Eastern European. She’s just transferred from school in Eastern Europe to study Neuropsychiatry at USC in California. She speaks fluent English and is a very bright student.
[JASMIN] Second lead role. Female, 20, recently transferred from school in Paris, France to study Architecture at USC in California. She is French but speaks fluent English. Her clothes and attitude are cooler than cool.
[KAITLIN] Third lead role. Female, 20, just transferred from school in Ohio to study the medicinal aspects of nutrition at USC in California. She’s a big boned, sensual, American sorority girl who was raised on a ranch by her Grandparents.
[ED] Supporting role. Male, 22, American film student. He’s an aspiring Cinematographer and a photography fanatic. He’s on a scholarship and is easily one of the smartest most quietly ambitious students at USC.
[MICHAEL] Supporting role. Male, 22, slender, attractive, an American film school student with ambitions to be a Director. He’s working on his thesis documentary and there’s a lot riding on it, as his grades have been less than spectacular.

Important information about uploading audition videos:
A large number of casting directors and studios are now using Cast It Systems’ ActorCast to allow people to upload audition videos for specific projects and roles.
When uploading audition videos, make absolutely sure to follow the directions exactly as stated. If they want it done a specific way, then do not disregard the instructions and do whatever you want. Not following the instructions is a sure way to NOT get a call back. If you can’t follow simple directions on how to tape and submit an audition video, then the casting director will assume that you may not be able to take direction well on set during filming. And that is not a good thing. So be very careful and follow the directions exactly as they are explained. Remember that not following directions can cost you the part!
