Comedy Central “Detroiters” schedules open casting call

The popular Comedy Central series “Detroiters” has scheduled the following open casting call for the show’s second season.

To be considered, all adults, children and foreign talent must be legally eligible to work on television shows in the Detroit area and in the United States. Both extras and speaking roles are currently being cast for the show’s second season.

“Detroiters” is a single-camera buddy comedy that centers on Sam and Tim, two local ad men who make low budget commercials in Detroit, Michigan. But the two best friends, much like the city in which they live, aspire to achieve great things. Starring in “Detroiters” is two-time Screen Actors Guild Awards nominee Sam Richardson playing the role of Sam Duvet, and Primetime Emmy Award nominee Tim Robinson as Tim Cramblin. Executive producers are fourteen-time Primetime Emmy Award winner Lorne Michaels and American Comedy Award nominee Jason Sudeikis. “Detroiters” airs on Comedy Central.
