MTV and Warner Horizon Television have announced the open casting call dates for season seven of the hit competitive dance reality television series “Randy Jackson Presents: America’s Best Dance Crew”. During the month of January, 2012 auditions will be held in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Houston. Video taped submissions will also be accepted for dance crews that can not attend one of the open auditions.

America’s Best Dance Crew, also known as ABDC, premiered on February 7, 2008 and was an instant hit. Over 40 million votes were cast that first season. The show features Hip-hop dance groups from all over the United States and around the globe. The dance groups compete is weekly challenges that are different for each crew but have the same general concept. Through an exciting and unique process of elimination, the winning dance crew receives a $100,000.

Three-time Young Artist Award winner and and “Dancing with the Stars” season three runner-up Mario Lopez hosts ABDC. The gorgeous British-American television personality and model Layla Kayleigh is a co-host who serves as backstage correspondent and on the road correspondent looking for talent in various cities.

Grammy Award winner and five-time Primetime Emmy Award nominated musician, singer, record producer, music manager, entrepreneur, and television personality Randy Jackson serves as executive producer for America’s Best Dance Crew. USA and World Hip Hop Championships creators Howard and Karen Schwartz, who also executive produce ABDC, recruited Randy Jackson.

Season six introduced the first-ever superstar-themed weeks. Justin Bieber, The Black Eyed Peas, Katy Perry, and Kanye West were among the special guest mentors to appear. Season 7 secrets of the reality competition series will surely aim to top last year’s game-changing outing.

Open Casting Call Details

“Randy Jackson Presents: America’s Best Dance Crew” is back on MTV to top last year’s game-changing season! The show’s casting producers are looking for the most talented, fresh, creative, and diverse crews to dominate the ABDC stage. This could be the year your crew becomes a household name like the Jabbawockeez, Super Crew, Quest Crew, We Are Heroes, Poreotix, and last year’s winner I.aM.mE! ABDC Season of the Superstars continues in season 7 – is it your time to reign?

Crews should consist of five to seven members, made up of any combination of males and females of all ages. If your dance crew has auditioned for previous seasons of ABDC, you are welcome to audition again for season seven.

Here is how your dance crew can audition:

• Go to the America’s Best Dance Crew Registration Page and sign up.

• Attend one of the open casting calls.

• If you can not attend, submit a video taped audition routine.
